Keep Your Pet from Begging for Food

Is your dog begging for food at every meal?  The greatest problem with a dog begging for food is probably the annoyance it causes the owner. But if you’re the type who continually gives in and doles out treats on demand, you may be doing more harm than good. After all, being overweight is just as unhealthy for animals as it is for humans.

Consistency Is the Key
Be consistent about both the amount of pet food you give your pet and when you give it, and you’ll greatly lessen the chances that he’ll beg or scavenge at other times. Although it is fine to feed your pets at a time of day that’s convenient for you, you need to decide on a particular time of day when you’re going to feed them—in the morning, afternoon, or evening—and stick to that schedule.

Just Say No to Begging
The best food for dogs isn’t table scraps, so feeding your pet while you’re eating is a surefire way to encourage begging. Your pet will come to expect his share when you sit down to eat. Feed your pet dog food, not people food, and you won’t find a wet nose next to your plate on the dinner table.

hope this help :D good luck
